In In September of 2002, Drummond Lumber Company, Besse’s 6th sawmill, joined the Besse Group. The modern band saw mill is located on 15 acres in Northern Wisconsin and supports a wood boiler, pre-dryer and dry kilns. The mill has the capacity to produce over 4.0 million board feet of green lumber and 4.2 million board feet of kiln dried hardwood lumber per year.

A newly added planer assures excellent quality when surfacing is required.
