The fourth company to join the Besse Group, Besse Forest Products, Inc., was formed in early 1989 for the purpose of entering into world markets by exporting forest products manufactured by the member companies, as well as products purchased from other sources outside of the group.

Besse's knowledgeable sales personnel move high quality veneer and kiln dried hardwood lumber from the mills and warehouses in Michigan, Wisconsin, Indiana, Quebec, North Carolina, and Oregon to the world market. Experienced in both production and sales, the sales staff has extensive backgrounds in the hardwood products industry. They are involved throughout the purchase process and act as consultants to ensure customer satisfaction. From the first contact through delivery of the product to the customer, whether meeting with a client, checking quality control at the plant, or traveling with an order at the time of delivery, their goal is to meet the customers' expectations.
